In yesterday’s Thursday HotSeat, our Member in focus bounced a few points off the Brains Trust that he’d been considering and received some great input which resulted in increased clarity and a change of perspective for him.
He was grateful for this, although it was clear that the certainty and presence with which he conducted himself gave us all the feeling that it was almost already sorted, before he even spoke about it.
He is an Elder Member of the Club, meaning he has been with us over 5 years, and is diligent and passionate in his application of the tools and practices we use to develop the internal peace and trust that many are looking for. The result is that he is rarely swayed by external circumstances and simply puts one foot in front of the other, happy in the knowing that everything is working out in his favour, receiving the guidance or intuition to support that.
It’s the art of being centred or present, without necessarily having the knowledge or clear sight of how things will unfold, trusting it always will work out. A skill which supports the enjoyment of most every moment, negating the rollercoaster experience which for many is their normal way of life.
From this place, our experience is no longer dictated by our fears or concerns, being the only place that true freedom actually lies.
