Yesterday’s Thursday HotSeat was conducted in a ‘multiseat’ format, meaning we had more than one Member in focus. We covered quite a lot of ground, particularly to do with letting go of the logic and reason often utilised in decision-making, and instead actively building intuition as a guidance system with which to navigate.
It can take practice and work to build the ‘muscle’ that enables us to trust inspiration and intuition, so that we just ‘know’ the path to take rather than relying on the limited logical mind alone in an attempt to try to figure it out.
One of the great takeaways from the session, which relates to this, was the sharing from one Member that he’s been seeing the benefit of having a few hours at a time without any of his tech with him. No laptop, no ipad, no phone, and enjoying the liberation and peace that comes with that.
You might relate to the challenge that it can sometimes be to step totally away from engaging with the external world, but this is where we can truly experience being present with our internal world, those who are in our immediate space, the voice of our intuition, inner guidance, source, God or whatever you resonate with.
The challenge is in overcoming the part of us which actually likes the feeling of being busy, not wanting to miss out on messages or feel out of the loop, and it’s the same part of us that drives the need to figure things out with logic and try to make the ‘right’ choice.
From this point of view, it’s an achievement every time we break the pattern of being engaged in chaos and complexity, and dedicate time to being present and enjoying simplicity instead. It also builds a better environment from which to more clearly and easily ‘hear’ inspiration, intuition and universal guidance which makes life and business a much more fun, enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
