How often do you consider and stretch your thoughts and perspectives about the foundation and fabric of life itself?
I mean really entertain some viewpoints which might be outside your current view of the world and the reality that you believe you live in?
In yesterday’s Winning Strategies session, we did just that. My passion for growth and truth continues to take me to inspiring places and realisations which I love delivering in as fun and inspiring a way as I can. These particular sessions (Winning Strategies) are my valued opportunity to do that.
Beyond the bounds of our unique views of the world, and once we peel back the layers of beliefs, viewpoints and experiences that frame how we see and experience things, another ground exists.
This is beyond the logical mind, and the encumbrance of our past being automatically projected forward to create a future that we probably didn’t enjoy the first time around, let alone choosing to experience it again. It provides a fresh slate to work from.
Inflexibility or resistance that we may have to entertaining new or different viewpoints can be reflected in our business and life experience, with similar situations seeming to play on repeat. The more we can consider new ways of thinking and new perspectives, the more we can move beyond any attachment to the validity of our current worldview, and allow for a whole new experience.
It is possible that some of the views that we are invested in, and that we may happily defend without even realising, are in fact not serving us, and when given a shake up we can find ourselves liberated.
Consider this quote from A Course in Miracles:
“Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.”
The human mind has infinite capacity for expansion and understanding, and when encouraged to work with new and possibly challenging thoughts, it is also a gateway to transcending our known experience.
