In yesterday’s Exponential Possibilities session, we took a deep-dive into systematic AI implementation with house Futurist, Craig Rispin supporting Members in getting really clear about the possible applications and how to move forward from their current level of AI use (which mostly ranged from little to moderate).
Prompt Engineering is obviously the crux of the AI conversation at the moment, as, ‘if you want better answers, you’d better ask better questions’ has never been truer.
Craig let us know about the Olympics of Prompt Engineering which was held in Singapore, and specifically about the Gold Medal winning prompt, which harnesses ChatGPT as an expert prompt engineer itself, assisting us to extract the best prompts to achieve a certain outcome. This gave us all valuable food for thought and Craig demonstrated how to apply that to any goal, by first assigning ChatGPT as an agent, giving context and a framework for best results.
We also had a look at the website There’s an AI for that, and specifically the ‘job impact index’ page where you can see data on the likely impact of AI on any role and also lists of suggested AI apps to support a Team member in that position. Check out the recommended AI’s for a CEO.
It is a vast and innovative world, and as with anything, the best way to work with something new and increase uptake and implementation is simply by putting one foot in front of the other, following a systematic approach. This supports incremental progress, without the sense of overwhelm that some leaders report, and also provides an opportunity to embrace more applications as understanding and familiarity grows.
