Yesterday’s session with house Futurist, Craig Rispin, was another thought provoking experience. Given the emergence of no-code options to create apps and websites, the opportunity for non-techs, such as myself and many Club Members, to get creative has never been greater.
Rocket is an example of a tech platform which enables the use of prompts alone to create apps and websites, and in some instances non-techs can take the design right through to a market-ready version. Craig shared how his business partner and Club Member, Brett, had done just that, by designing a calculator tool for their website which allows customers to generate a complex quote in real time and prequalify themselves, before getting in touch.
Platforms such as Rocket allow us non-tech (vibe coders) to rapidly bring ideas to life, or to create a working prototype to prove a business concept, and then we can look at bringing in tech help to bridge any gaps or elevate the design to create the best customer experience.
Beyond the usual application of AI to enhance productivity, in this session we also focussed on how it can be utilised in our specific situation to enhance our revenue model. A great question to consider, related to this, is ‘After productivity, what is the one app that we could deploy which could provide exponential opportunity and be an economic game changer for us?’.
The idea that “whatever we can conceive and believe, we can achieve” has never been truer.
