This week we had Winning Strategies which originally was created as a space for me to share tools, techniques and technologies which I’d found, developed and decided fit to share with the group.
Because of the ever developing and particularly valuable brains trust, I decided over time to share less of my discoveries and open the space to more of the attendees input. Yesterday’s session was aligned with this shift and so we covered business strategy around the marketing, sales and fulfilment (anything in your business which isn’t marketing or sales) aspects of the individual Member’s businesses, with so many great insights, tools and technologies shared.
We approach success in life and business on an 80/20 basis which is to say that we believe that approximately 80% of our outcomes are based on who we are and approximately 20% of our outcomes are based on what we do, being mostly which strategies, tools and technologies we utilise. And we give about the same ratio of focus to each.
Success in life is 80% psychology and 20% mechanics – what you do doesn’t matter if you aren’t in the right mindset. Understanding the ways psychology can work for or against you will help you establish a healthier outlook and put you in the right mindset to execute your strategy – Anthony Robbins
This was an opportunity to focus on the 20%. With a group of leaders of this calibre, who would miss asking the last question on the table for the session, being “What is a Winning Strategy you’d like from the Brains Trust?” Members will contact each other offline to assist each other by providing their best solutions to the winning strategies requested.
In living the best version of your life and creating the highest levels of success in your business, do you give more time and focus to developing who you are, or to what you do?
